This Victorian style woodland photograph was taken by my friend and photographer Sharon Aston. We spent a day in a woodland area near Helston in Cornwall experimenting with different poses and locations. There was a beautiful “Gunnera manicata” giant rhubarb plant growing near a stream with giant leaves which was perfect for the atmosphere that we wanted to create. Sharon used old wet plate techniques using silver to create this photograph.
