I have recently finished this painting “View from a room” which I began creating, demonstrating at my recent exhibition in Ludlow with “The Artists’ Gallery” on February 14th. I was pleased with the finished result but it took a while to soften it and create the romantic feel that I wanted to express. Although I visited Aberaeron this painting is an imaginary window view. How lovely it must be to have a window view onto a beautiful harbour. A painting can take you anywhere that you might like to go rather like music or poetry.
