A visit to Polperro in Cornwall inspired this painting. It’s a small atmospheric painting in gouache. The boat in the foreground is called “Blue Fin” and I chose to use the colours of blues and greens expressively. I also add movement with flowing ripples in the water, birds flying and clouds in the sky as if they are blown by the wind.
