This Saturday 14th February at “The Artist’s Gallery in Ludlow I shall be demonstrating painting. I began preparing the composition today; I set up a still life with a small vase of spring flowers that I picked from the garden. I used hellebores mainly with some fern leaves and wild crocus. I placed the vase on a vintage book “The Angel of Love” by L.T. Meade and added a teacup, a vintage butterscotch tin and another vintage book “Dancing star”, (the story of Pavlova) by Gladys Malvern on the table. I thought that I would imagine a seaside view of Aberaeron harbour in Wales. I shall begin painting at the gallery at 10.30 a.m and continue well into the afternoon.
