My love of dancing helped to inspire this painting. Each fairy is holding a different dance position; one is leaping into the air, another is flying above the flowers and the third is balancing on one leg. I try to add movement into the composition with swaying flowers and leafy tendrils. My background of theatre design comes in handy when I am creating their costumes too.
